ABSTRACT |
Biomaterials are widely used for making devices that can interact with biological systems to coexist for longer service with minimal failure. They are commonly used in repair, replacement or augmentation of diseased or damaged parts of the musculoskeletal system such as bones, joints and teeth. Metallic materials have been widely used in various forms as implants. Due to better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, the Co-Cr-Mo alloy is one of the most popular metallic materials used in implantology. This product was made by powder metallurgy technique.
