ABSTRACT |
The present invention relates to a DNA nano chip based TiO2 interdigitated 5 electrode (IDE) nanobiosensor for early detection of cervical cancer. The DNA nano chip comprises an oligonucleotide DNA probe covalently attached onto a TiO2 layered IDE surface. The TiO2 layered IDE surface is modified by treating with 3-Aminopropyl triethoxysilane and the oligonucleotide is E6 region of Human paillomavirus. The nanochip comprises atleast 20 to 36 number of electrodes having a size being 5.5 x 0.25 10 mm and 10 mm gap between each other placed parallelly. Atleast two pads are placed at a predetermined gap from the end electrode at a distance of atleast 3 mm. The modified layer of TiO2 is immobilized with E6 region of the Human Papillomavirus. The sensor detects at a concentration of 10_6;M and below of a Human Papillomavirus in a clinical sample within 30 minutes. The sensor detects HPV 16 and HPV 17 specific genotypes of 15 Human Papillomavirus.
