The product is a single phase H-bridge cascade multilevel inverter that converts DC voltage to a sine wave AC source. The output of this product is a sine wave 240 Volt AC voltage with low harmonics distortion which is less than 5% and suitable for use in complex electrical equipments and frequency sensitive equipments. The product utilized a low cost FPGA chip as main controller unit that controls the whole operations of single phase H-bridge cascade multilevel inverter. The FPGA chip produce control signal for 9 level output voltage. The purpose of this invention is to design a low cost single phase H- bridge cascade multilevel inverter using field programmable gate array (FPGA). The inverter circuit converts DC voltage from a battery cell to sine wave AC source, which is suitable for use in complex electrical equipments and frequency sensitive equipments.
