PRODUCT NAME A New Measurement Method for Human Blood Plasma Separation Precision Based on Ultrasound
ABSTRACT Separation precision can be defined as the percentage of purity of plasma from blood cells after the centrifugation process.A novel method for highly separation process which yield precise diagnosis diseases has been adapted and tested based on new technique of decay power pulser. The proposed method is based on measurements of attenuation factors for senses of pulses propagate through blood sample in pitch-catch method. Using of decay power pulser technique provides the ability to control the accuracy of attenuation measurements based on adjustable long-path wave propagation. Mathematical model of the attenuation measurements and separation precision required has been derived and simulated. Based on this model the conventional controller of nowadays centrifuge device can be modulated to optimize the time and power consumption requirements for separation precision. Results of the experimental shows the possibility of implementing measure concentrations of 7% to red blood cells (damage cells) with platelets, which is equal to 0.35 ml of 5 ml plasma.
