PRODUCT NAME The Investigation Of Performance On Textile Antenna For Flat & Bent Condition Over On-Body Communication
ABSTRACT This project investigates and analyzes the effect on microstrip patch antenna that deployed in wearable application especially in wireless LAN technology. A new approach of receiving the signal for wireless LAN has been made by using the textile as a conductive material. The textile antenna for on-body communication is a type of antenna that can be placed on curved and flexible surfaces to act as a normal antenna. The scope of the project is to focus on 2.45 GHz rectangular microstrip patch antenna that is developed for wireless LAN application. The objective of this project is to explore the effect of textile antenna in curve or flat surface on the human body. The antenna structure is made from common clothing fabrics and operates at the 2.45 GHz wireless band. Details of the proposed triangular patch antenna design are described and simulated results of return loss, input impedance and radiation patterns are presented and discussed.
