Child safety remains a significant concern in Malaysia, particularly as missing-child cases continue to involve a substantial proportion of teenagers. More than 3,800 children were reported missing between 2020 and 2024, highlighting the need for faster and more effective approaches to child monitoring and emergency response. SafeTrack 24*7n introduces a smart wearable GPS tracking system designed to provide continuous, discreet, and proactive protection for children. The device is developed as a silver locket equipped with real-time GPS tracking, SIM connectivity, adaptive geofencing, behaviour-based monitoring, and a hidden emergency alert mechanism. Its intelligent system detects unusual movement patterns, unexpected route changes, prolonged inactivity, and other potentially risky situations before sending alerts and live-location information to authorised guardians. Unlike conventional tracking devices that primarily provide location information, SafeTrack 24¿7 integrates predictive risk alerts, dynamic safe-zone monitoring, multiple emergency triggers, secure data access, and an adaptive battery-management system to support proactive rather than reactive child protection. The proposed commercialisation strategy incorporates business-to-consumer, institutional, and government collaboration models, supported by device sales, subscription services, and institutional licensing. Financial projections indicate potential commercial feasibility, with an estimated break-even point of approximately 250 units and projected first-year net profit of RM90,000 based on 1,000 unit sales. Overall, SafeTrack 24¿7 demonstrates potential as a scalable technology-based child-safety solution combining real-time monitoring, intelligent risk detection, rapid emergency response, and sustainable commercialisation.
