| ABSTRACT |
Piper crocatum (Sireh merah) is a medicinal plant that traditionally used for treatment of coronary heart disease, gout, inflammation of organs, hypertension and diabetes mellitus. However, so far, there have been no excessive studies conducted to support these practices. Hence, this research focuses on determination of antidiabetic activity of Piper crocatum by using in vitro method.
