| ABSTRACT |
An automated water-quality monitoring system (100) comprising an external monitoring chamber (110) fluidly coupled to a primary process vessel (10). The chamber houses a multi-sensor assembly (120) to measure water parameters while isolated from the primary vessel to reduce fouling. Prior to measurement, a controller unit (160) executes a double-fill purge cycle, managed by a flow controller (130) and a water level sensor (170), to ensure sample integrity. The system features automated cleaning mechanisms, including an off-center tangential inlet (140) and conical bottom (142) for vortex-cleaning, and an internal water-spray nozzle (150). The controller (160) dynamically triggers cleaning based on sensor fouling indicators and manages a water exchange subsystem (200), executing iterative extraction and replenishment phases governed by a safety timeout mechanism to maintain optimal water parameters.
