Microorganism activity monitoring system is a system that used ultrasonic sensor and LED bar display as the microbe activity indicator. The transducer is using a new method where the application of ultasonic sensor is used in monitoring the microbe activity. The transducer used a liquid culture as the sample for experiment purpose. This system used for different concentration measurement, which used Saccharum Officinarum, a type of pseudo bacteria diluted in tap water. The activity of the microbes is according to the number of cells and the concentration of sample, which change when there is a change in the sample properties and also the metabolism of the microbe. Other than pseudo bacteria, the transducer successfully used in monitoring two types of fungus, which is Saccharomyces Cerevisiae and Aspergillus Niger.
