| ABSTRACT |
Thermoplastic Glutinous Rice Starch (TPGRS) also called as plasticized starch, which are 100% biodegradable and compose stable. TPGRS is one of the eco-plastic as it is non toxic and it is from renewable resource. In addition, the biodegradibility of TPRGS is going to cause any enviromental issue after disposed, since it will able to biodegrade. In term of application , it was applicable in packaging plastic(e.g packaging film,tray and beg), disposable tableware and agriculture product(e.g.,degradable pot) . Besides, the cost of the TPRGS can be lower than commodity plastic and the equipment for production is similar as using to process commodity plastic, like extrusion, and injection molding.
