This invention discloses an apparatus for de-seeding chillies. The apparatus comprises at least a pair of cutting rollers arranged adjacent to one another and configured to rotate for cutting the chillies into pulp containing seeds ; a sieve positioned below the rollers for receiving the pulp containing seeds, the sieve is tilted at an angled to have a relatively lower edge ; and a plurality of vibration inducing device mounted on the sieve for vibrating the sieve , wherein the seed pass through the while the pulp moves towards the lower edge for collection upon subjected to vibrational movement
