The menace of Pomacea canaliculata on young seedling of paddy is well known, though, controlling is another issue per se. Vast amount of paddy land has been reported over the years destroyed due to the menace. Though countless attempts have been made to eradicate the menace through stabilized techniques but seemed futile. However, the strategic of multivariate applications may well be the solution. Ceelata¿, through existing strategies coupled with potent protease from Bacillus thuringiensis could well be the ultimate combination and solution.
