his product is absolutely a green product, main ingredients comes from turmeric, low cost, annually renewable resource and environmental benefits. Due to the continuously rise on demand on natural pro-oxidant for plastic industry, PROXDPLAST is very interesting to highlight as a potential product. PROXDPLAST is the natural pro-oxidant which is going to fulfil demand in replacing current pro-oxidant which are toxics. The invention relates to the production of oxo-biodegradable plastic from virgin or recycled plastic and combination of two natural pro-oxidant (known as PROXDPLAST). The virgin or recycled plastic includes any kind of virgin or recycled plastic products from thermoplastic such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene terepthalate (PET), fluoroplastics (PTFE), polycarbonate (PC), polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Meanwhile, the natural proxidant are combination from turmeric (Curcuma longa) with active ingredient is curcumin with grasses from Imperata genus such as Imperata brasiliensis, Imperata, Imperata conferta, Imperata contracta, and Imperata cylindrica. The oxo-biodegradable plastic can be produced by melt mixing equipment either single screw extruder or twin screw extruder. The compound from the mixing equipment can be further processed to form products by using blown film and blow moulding.
