ABSTRACT The present invention applies conventional photolithography technique by using polysilicon on silicon substrate to fabricate a nanogap biosensor and employed as an electrochemical microelectrode sensors to measure the bio-molecules electrical characteristics. Electrical measurements are carried out to check the capacitance across the nanogap and it has been observed that the capacitance value is changed as the bio-molecule drop is varied across the nanogap. By using this technique, the amount of hCG present in urine can be precisely determined. This ultra-high sensitive device is able to detect any amount of hCG present in the urine. Therefore, the detection of pregnancy sensing has been advanced as early as eight days ( times takes for a sperm combines its nucleus to the ovum¿s nucleus to initiate hCG hormone, in general.
