PRODUCT NAME Fiber- Wireless Sensor Networks (FiWSN)
ABSTRACT Recently, progress in optical fiber technologies, especially the maturity of integration and new packaging technologies has rendered optical fiber access networks a promising low-cost broadband solution. By combining the capacity of optical fiber networks with the ubiquity and mobility of wireless networks, FiWSN networks form a powerful platform for the support and creation of emerging as well as future unforeseen applications and services. FiWSN networks hold great promise to change the way we live and work by replacing commuting with teleworking. Fusion of wireless sensor network with optical fiber network is a new emerge technology that has wide range of immese applications both of civilian and military. This innovation shows the hybrid FiWSN technology based on ZigBee standard is crucial aspect and a challenging issue for network designers. The Complete monitoring FiWSN network for campus of greenhouse based on sub-Star ZigBee network embedded within each greenhouse and an optical network as a backbone communication system where simultaneous monitoring of all GHs data can be achieved in real time enviroment is proposed and simulated. The time delays repreesented by the Backoff periods of CSMA/CA technique are diminish. To overcome the limitation of using WSN and the coexistance and interference effects which can impaired the communication link, intergration of optical fiber technology as data bridge to main admin station is effectively minimize the challengers of deploying WSN to a campus of GHs. Using of OCDMA code such as ZCC code with Optisystem simulator shows that BER is 10-9 for 109 to 127 simultaneous network accesses.
