| ABSTRACT |
New adhesive based on chicken feather treatment and additives manufactured through polymerization processing. The new adhesive is mixed with chicken feather fiber and corn husk to form art paper. The paper produced will be used as art paper, decorative lighting and art materials. The new binder shows better adhesion when compared with other adhesives. Privileges of this paper are able to decompose the environment and reduce pollution in soil and air pollution. The properties of the corn husk paper are greatly improved by the application of new adhesive. Besides that, low cost, availability of waste materials (chicken feather and corn husk), easy processing method, biodegradability, good properties are those features make this corn husk paper become attractive.
