ABSTRACT Optimization of renewable energy for paddy field irrigation system looks into the process of selecting the best components and its sizing with appropriate operation strategy to provide best system, high paddy production and economical saving. In addition, this product can overcome the problems faced by farmers as drought, flood season, the low quality of ¿padi huma¿ and the number of farmers shortage. This fact can be prove through this system because when the dry season it has been equipped with emergency tanks, this tank emergency can last for 3 months during the dry season. So, in the flood season, farmers still do not have to worry as before, because the paddy fields of the hill can still be used as normal only in the primary affected. To overcome the problem of the quality of ¿padi huma¿, it was then converted to ¿padi sawah¿ with irrigation kept by this product. Indirectly, the quality of paddy at the hills can be improved. Advantages of this product are to use renewable energy as a major source of supply. In addition, this product also helps to increase paddy production than usual. Furthermore, the system used is automatically and uses the latest technology of PIC Microcontroller. Among other advantages is reducing workforce farmers, product cost is not too expensive and emergency tank that can last for three months during the dry season.
