| ABSTRACT |
The multi-functional modifying agent is a synthetic waxy produced from waste oil through aminolysis reaction. Those modifying agent would able to work as multi-functional additive in plastic composite materials. It can used as lubricant, dispersion agent and coupling agent. The addition of this multi-functional modifying agent will benefit in plastic composite materials to faciliate and stabilize the dispersion of filler during the compounding to enhance processability. It also promote the wettability of polymer matrix to filler, which given the coupling effect with improve of mechanical properties to composite materials. In addition, the multi-functional modifying agent is low cost and it have compared performace to commercial additive use in plastic industry.
