| ABSTRACT |
Hybrid source single phase multilevel inverter is a complete electrical system that can be easily configured with a different power source. The three basic elements generate the system are power source, charging system and the battery. There have a lot of power source that could be use for this system such as wind turbine and solar arrays. For this project, the hybrid power source will combine between wind turbine and solar arrays. The main reason multilevel inverter was used because the energy from different renewable energy sources can be used simultaneously. The inverter produced 3 to 9 levels with different frequency from 5Hz to 120Hz and different switching pattern. Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) was used as a controller. This controller programmed the level, frequency and switching pattern selection. By using this product the user can select the inverter output voltage level, frequency and pattern by using push-button.
