ABSTRACT The main aim was to explore new horizons for science and technology by designing, constructing and manufacturing novel portable electronic device in the size and weight of the small mobile cell phonewhich can be use to detect whether the meat is HALAL or not. The device is very precise , handy and easy to use. The users have to place the device on the meat and push ON-button then show in the screen that the meat is HALAL or non-HALAL so the consumer will know exactly what kind of meat is that. This novel electronic portable device is designed and constructed to detect the meat based on the amount of the blood in the arteries and capillaries of the meat. This device can be used to determine a volume measurement of blood in the arteries and capillaries. This can be done by using low level of infrared light to detect the changes in blood content in the arteries and capillaries of the meat. An IR laser diode can be used to transmit light through easily in the meat. Longer wavelengths are scattered to a lesser degree than shorter ones (due to Rayleigh scattering, which helps to increase penetration depth. A receiver then detects the transmitted light. The output from the receiver is proportional to the amount of blood in the arteries and capillaries of the meat. The IR laser diode and the IR receiver is built in integrated electronic circuit.
