PRODUCT NAME Electrochemical Fabrication Of Nanoporous Alumina
ABSTRACT This system is designed to eliminate the known limitations associated with the anodization of aluminium. The power supply is connected through either an ac or dc circuits which consistof a number of components linked to the electrochemical cel to provide control over the anodization process. Some of the components are diode bridge rectifier, capacitor, resistor, voltage/current regulator and light emitting diodes. When all these are properly connected the regulate the nucleattion and growth of the nanopores on the surface of the aluminium foil. The system also makes it unnecessary to anodize at very high voltages or prolog anodization time.
