ABSTRACT |
A new Flexible Cross Correlation (FCC) code has been developed and applied in symmetric FTTH access network to carry triple play services. This system is designed to accommodate higher number of users and inherent security of data transmission compare to the existing TDMA or WDMA system. Many optical codes have been proposed for OCDMA system such as DCS, MDW and Hadamard codes, respectively. The FCC code has been design in such a way to reduce the impacts of Phase Induced Intensity Noise (PIIN) and Multiple Access Interference (MAI) among the users. The FCC-OCDMA coding system can be applied in various applications such as Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), Optical IP network, Automotive and Oil and Gas industries. This product has a low Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
