ABSTRACT Chicken from day old chick to slaughter should be well managed and provided with good envirenment in order to get maximum form output. Proper housing , malodour quality and general good care are indicated in an effort to shorten the duration and severity of the infection. One of the troubling event that can happen to any chicken owner is the introduction of a ddisease into the chicken flock. Chicken disease can reduce egg and meat production, economic loss and the loss of chickens. Diseases are caused by many different factors like example, in intensice chicken barn, the air can become highly polluted with malodour volatile compound from the manure . this malodour volatile compounds components are also harmful to chicken health because of it's toxic substances at high concentration. At present method of malodour quality measurement is done using human olfactometer with sensitivity up to sub-ppb based on theri perception and experience. but the technique has the following disadvantages and if not address urgently will affect the industry 1) Long and Specifi cTraining 2) They are prone to fatigues and cannot operate for 24 hours. 3) The data also not fully standardize and the results are inconsistance.
