| ABSTRACT |
A pH regulating composition obtained fro, encapsulating a mixture comprising a pH control agent in 5 to 40% by weight of total composition; calcium chloride in 0.5 to 10% by weight of total composition; carboxylmethylcellulose in 0.10 to 2% by weight of total composition; wherin the encapsulating is performed by reacting a predetermined volume of the mixture with a first aqueous solution of sodium alginate at first concentration having a surfactant that a portion of the first solution in direct contact with the mixture cross-links to form a capsule having a substantially spherical outer shell enclosing the mixture.
