The invention aims to provide a composition comprising a mixture of geopolymer and epoxy resin. Advantageously , the composition can be used for coating purposes. Another object of the present invention is to provide a composition derived from waste materials of industries such as mining, constructionand demolition to produce geopolymer. Advantageously, this will lower the cost of prodcution. Another object of the present invention is to provide a composition which is compatible for the use with concrete, metals and clay materials. Further object of the invention is to present a geopolymer composition for coating purposes which has improved fire retardant and mechanical properties.
