CRETE-D is adhering to the new Eurocode 2 , most of concrete design software in the market is based on old code ( British Code ). CRETE-D is a light and easy to use (straightforward) software compared to others. CRETE-D is based on Microsoft Excel, where most of computers can run it easily. CRETE-D design is based mainly on single element, other software were based on the whole structure. CRETE-D provide the exact solution to the design, other software tend to produce ¿over or under ¿design¿ result. CRETE-D can be used as a check ¿proof while using another design software, as it can designing single element. The only other way to produce result similar to CRETE-D is by manual calculation (pen and papers),thus saving time and cost. Full calculation provides detail on specific aspect from Eurocode 2, making it more comprehensive in the designing process.
