ABSTRACT |
A method for extracting dietary fiber from mango is provided. The method includes the step of: processing unripe mango and obtaining its byproduct; washing and drying said byproduct at a predefined temperature for a predefined period of time; crushing the said byproduct; preparing slurry of the byproduct by combining the crushed byproduct with liquid; heating followed by cooling the slurry through a physical process; segregating large solid and isolated fibers.
