This product is an environmental friendly product which utilized the lignocellulosic waste in the form of coconut coir. The cement panel was made by the mixture of sand, water, cement and coconut coir. Coconut fibre was used as reinforcement and added to cement matrix to replace the sand proportion. The coconut coir are water proof in nature, unaffected by fungi, rot and other moths, good sound insulation and low thermal conductivity. This potential panel is suitable to be used as a thermal insulated partition panel at affordable cost.
