Disclosed are a system, a method and/or composition of reduction of carbon dioxide in the manufacturing of cement and concrete. In one embodiment, a method of producing a concrete, includes preparing a dried poWder mixture of an alkali hydroxide, a sodium silicate, clay and a poZZo1anic material. The dried poWder With Water may be reacted to form a cement paste. In addition, the cement paste may be mixed With at one of sand, an aggregate, a plasticiZer and a nano additive to form the concrete.
