Back in time, Muslims who are in a journey used to use maps, compass or more recently Qiblah pointer to locate the direction of Kaażba. However, there are still some issues arose related in determining the Qiblah particularly for people who are in the move such as travelling in an airplane, ships or even in trains where it is difficult to maintain position and orientation while performing Salah. In finding ways to overcome these issues, with the efforts and brainstorming of our fellow research team members, we came up with a solution and developed a prototype model which is called SMART QIBLAT.
